Chelsea 3-3 Southampton: Werner shining isn’t enough

After a 3-3 draw against West Brom two weeks ago, Chelsea are yet to win, they have another draw to continue with the same score as they face Southampton at home. However, unlike a spectacular comeback to score points two weeks ago, Chelsea have sadly lost the point at home.

Werner made a double for Chelsea in the first 28 minutes. At the end of the first half, Ings cut the score to 1-2. Not long after the start of the second half, Southampton tied with an Adams goal, which remained a gift from the Chelsea defense, but just two minutes later Havertz gave Chelsea the lead again. In injury time, Vestergaard tied 3-3 and helped the visitors earn a point.

The climax of the Blues victory is Werner. The German forward shone in Chelsea’s victory, with Werner involved in the three Stamford Bridge hosts with a double against Southampton and an assist for Havertz to score.
