From October 16 to 21, the central provinces have very heavy rains, especially Ha Tinh and Quang Binh, there is the possibility of particularly heavy rains. Total precipitation in this phase in Ha Tinh, Quang Binh provinces is forecast to be around 500 – 800mm, locally above 800mm. The popular provinces of Nghe An, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue are 300-500mm, and some places are more than 500mm. From Da Nang to Phu Yen, it rains 200 to 300mm, in some places more than 350mm. The Central Highlands region begins to rain from the night of October 16 to 18 with a total rainfall of about 100 – 200 mm, in some places more than 250 mm.
