HanoiThe Range Rover car sent to the basement of the Trang Tien shopping center (Trang Tien Plaza, Hoan Kiem District) suddenly caught fire, causing many people to panic.
At 12 a.m. on 3/4, as the fire rose from the car, dozens of building security personnel used fire extinguishers and sprinklers on the scene to put out the fire. Customers and mall staff are evacuated from the area.

Hoan Kiem District Police dispatched 3 fire trucks and 15 soldiers to the scene of the fire, supporting the evacuation of the people. At 12:15 am the fire was completely extinguished.
At the scene, the Range Rover car partially burned the interior, with no human damage. More than two hours later, Trang Tien Plaza is back to normal. Police are still blocking the area of the burned car to investigate the cause.
Trang Tien Plaza is located near Hoan Kiem Lake, the forerunner of the Godard Mall built by the French in the early 20th century. In September 1959, Godard was renamed the General Department, also known as Trang Tien Department Store. In 1999, Trang Tien Plaza was built in the old department store.
