The Standing Committee of the Board of Directors of the Buddhist Church of Vietnam said Abbot Thich Phuoc Ngoc had fraudulently forced and appropriated a large amount of money with receipts to transfer money to a bank account called Pham Van Cung.
After the verification process, the Vinh Long Province Vietnamese Buddhist Church Board of Directors approached Abbot Thich Phuoc Ngoc to return home. At the same time, Venerable Thich Phuoc Ngoc’s ordination message was revoked, the monks and nuns were certified, and the names of the monks and nuns were removed.
The Standing Committee of the Buddhist Church of Vietnam also issued a warning notice to Vietnamese Buddhist churches in other provinces and cities and strengthened the management, supervision and inspection of monks and nuns. institutes, charities and orphan reception centers in the locality.
