According to information from the Binh Duong Province Center for Disease Control, on the night of March 25, 2021, the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City confirmed that Binh Duong had 01 suspected case of COVID-19 infection in the community.

This suspect is a 44-year-old man, a Chinese national, who has lived in Binh Duong from before the Tan Suu Lunar New Year until now. On March 25, 2021, he went to the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City to get tested for COVID-19 before returning home, and he tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 (the Ministry of Health has not announced this ).

Initially, 8 cases of close contact (F1) were reviewed and tracked and all were placed in the isolator for sampling.
