According to Bac Lieu, after having the test results from Thanh Vu Medic General Hospital, the Pasteur Institute confirmed that Mr. T. was negative for COVID-19.
Specifically, at 0 hours and 40 minutes on February 28, 2021, Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu Hospital detected a positive case for SARS-CoV-2. This is the case when the patient self-assessed to apply for a job in accordance with the employer’s COVID-19 disease prevention and control requirement.
The patient is Mr. TVT, born 1972, Vinh Thanh A Village, Vinh Hai Commune, Vinh Chau City, Soc Trang Province.
Based on the results of the previous tests, the Provincial Steering Committee for Disease Control and Prevention COVID-19 activated the scenario in the area where there was a positive case for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the community; At the same time, send the sample to the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City for confirmation. While waiting for the test results from the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City, the Provincial Steering Committee directed the isolation and took Mr. T. to the Bac Lieu Province General Hospital, urgently track F1, F2 cases , F3 follow the specified scenario.
So far, 54 suspected cases of F1 have been traced, almost 80 suspected cases of F2, 128 suspected cases of F3.
On the night of February 28, the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City issued a document confirming that Mr. T. was negative for COVID-19. Since then, the Steering Committee for the control of the COVID-19 epidemic in Bac Lieu province has immediately informed the competent authorities, quickly communicating the entire situation to neighboring provinces.
Along with that is the quarantine termination notice for all cases of contact with Mr. T., and tOrganizations learned from the experience in epidemic prevention and control, especially for the review of the entire process, the test results and the justification of the Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu Hospital laboratory, to restore the corrections, ensuring better results in the future .
