Mr. Le Minh Hung, born 11/12/1970. Hometown: Son Tan Commune, Huong Son District, Ha Tinh Province. He is currently a member of the Central Committee of the XII Party.
During his work, he has received different positions in the banking system. From 1993 to January 1998, he was an expert in the International Monetary Fund Division, International Relations Department, State Bank of Vietnam.
Later, he took turns holding positions such as: Assistant Manager; Head of the Asian Development Bank Division; Vice principal; Director General of the Department of International Cooperation, State Bank of Vietnam; Director of the Personnel and Organization Department, State Bank of Vietnam and Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.
In November 2014, Mr. Le Minh Hung was transferred and appointed Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Office.
After the XII National Party Congress, in April 2016, the National Assembly approved Mr. Le Minh Hung to serve as Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.
