Among the 5 people who were elected for the first time to the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Quang Duc was the Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Doan Toan, vice chairman of the City People’s Committee, was appointed to serve as Chairman of the City Party Committee; Ms. Bui Huyen Mai, President of the City Labor Confederation, was appointed to serve as Head of the Party’s Propaganda Department. Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha continues to serve as Vice President of the People’s City Council.
