Regarding this case, in September 2020, the Xuyen Moc District People’s Court brought to trial 20 defendants for 2 offenses “Organization of the game” and “Gambling”. Of whom, 10 accused of organizing games of chance were sentenced by the Panel to 4-6 years in prison; Ten gambling violators were sentenced to fines and imprisonment. After that, 7 defendants requested mitigation.

According to the investigation, at the end of October 2019, many Ba Ria – Vung Tau players participated in a very large casino in Xuyen Moc district. This casino is run by Ngo Xuan Quyen, who just served a prison sentence for organizing gambling.
