One person even urged members to bring plastic harnesses to tie up “those who instigated the violence.” Police have deployed dozens of employees, put up security barriers, but only a handful of people who support and oppose Trump were present at the Jan.11 rally.

“I don’t like being censored. I feel like conservative voices are being censored,” said a Trump supporter.

Kenneth Lundgreen, 71, a Trump antagonist, said he wanted to “act as a counterweight” in case a crowd of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol in Washington last week.

Shortly after the riot, Twitter permanently blocked Trump’s account with 88 million followers, due to repeated violations of company rules and the risk of “continuing to incite violence.”

Trump accused Twitter of conspiring with the “radical leftist” faction, while some international leaders, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel, said the ban was “problematic.” Many other social media platforms, including Facebook and Snapchat, have also suspended Trump’s account.

Democrats are beginning a second review of Trump’s impeachment for “inciting rebellion” in the attack on Capitol Hill, in which five people were killed.
