O’Brien is visiting Vietnam from November 20-22, on the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Vietnam.

The statement raised the total value of funding for USAID’s Bien Hoa project to more than $ 110 million, according to information from the US Embassy.
Mr. O’Brien and the President of the Export-Import Bank of the USA, Kimberly Reed, also witnessed the signing ceremony of the LNG Long Son gas power project between representatives of General Electric (GE), GENCO3, Pacific Corporation, PECC 2., Mitsubishi and TTC Group.
In this project, GE will provide equipment, services and contribute investment capital, with a total equity value of $ 1 billion. The project is expected to provide 1,500 MW of clean and reliable electricity for Vietnam, improve Vietnam’s energy security, and support Vietnam’s economic development.
