Georgia Secretary of State Mr. Brad Raffensperger announced on 11-11 the manual recount of all votes in the state in the context that the gap between the two presidential candidates is too small.

Joe Biden currently leads the state with more than 14,000 votes and if he wins it, it will be the first time a Democratic candidate has won in Georgia since 1992. RT News.

“With that margin, the votes will be fully and manually verified in each district,” Raffensberger, a Republican, said at a Nov. 11 news conference.

He added that the recount will ensure that there are no doubts about who won the 16 votes from the state electoral college. Trump’s campaign team requested a manual recount in Georgia on Nov.10.

If the results are reversed in the state of Georgia, President Trump has yet to regain victory in this year’s election. However, Trump’s electoral group has filed a lawsuit against the results of the vote count in several other battle states, including Pennsylvania, Michigan and Nevada over allegations of voter fraud. If the recount results change in these states, Trump may be able to turn the tables.

Mr. Biden was announced by the US media as president-elect after obtaining the necessary number of electoral votes without winning in Georgia. So far, only 97 of the state’s 159 counties have confirmed the results of the vote count.

On 11-11, President Trump scored more victories in the state of Alaska, raising his total number of electoral votes to 217. Trump has yet to accept defeat and has acknowledged Biden’s victory.
