On the morning of January 31, the vice chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic in Hanoi, Chu Xuan Dung, agreed with the proposal of the Department of Education and Training of Hanoi for students in which the city takes a break from the Tan Suu Lunar New Year 2021 within a week to ensure safety and prevent the Covid-19 epidemic.
Consequently, all students of kindergartens, elementary schools, secondary schools, secondary schools, vocational education centers – continuing education and private preschool children in the city begin to be absent from school on February 1, 2021.
The rest period lasts until the end of the Lunar New Year holiday, previously announced by Tan Suu 2021, that is, until February 16, 2021.
The Hanoi People’s Committee requested the Hanoi Department of Education and Training to instruct the education and training departments of districts, cities and affiliated units and schools to strictly enforce Directive No. 05 / CT-TTg of January 28 of 2021 of the Prime Minister and official Telegram. No. 02 / CD-UBND dated January 28, 2021 from the Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee on the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic in a spirit of proactive plans and ready to deal with all developments of the epidemic of Covid-19, to ensure the safety of staff, teachers, staff and students throughout the city.
