On the afternoon of December 28, the Health Ministry said that Vietnam had registered 10 new cases of COVID-19 infections, all of which were quarantined. Of which, 9 cases were isolated in Khanh Hoa province and 1 case was isolated in Ho Chi Minh city.
Case 1442 (BN 1442): male, 39 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Ba Be district, Bac Can province.
Case 1443 (BN 1443): male, 49 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.
Case 1444 (patient 1444): male, 50 years old, Vietnamese nationality, residing in Y Yen district, Nam Dinh province.
Case 1445 (BN 1445): male, 37 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province.
Case 1446 (BN 1446): male, 26 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in the city. Uong Bi, Quang Ninh province.
Case 1447 (BN 1447): male, 56 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Dong Da district, Hanoi.
Case 1448 (BN 1448): male, 30 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province.
Case 1449 (BN 1449): male, 37 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Ha Dong district, Hanoi.
Case 1450 (BN 1450): female, 29 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province.
On December 25, BN 1442-1450 from Russia entered Cam Ranh Airport on flight VN5062, isolated in Khanh Hoa province immediately after entry.
The test result at the Khanh Hoa Province Center for Disease Control on December 27 was positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Currently, patient 1442-1446 is isolated and treated at Khanh Hoa Tropical Diseases Hospital, patient 1447-1450 is isolated and treated at Ninh Sim – Ninh Hoa Regional General Clinic.
Case 1451 (BN 1451): male, 23 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in District 5, HCMC. This is the case of Myanmar who entered illegally on the open road on December 24 (with BN 1440), then returned to Ho Chi Minh City.
Test results on December 27 at the HCMC Center for Disease Control were positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at the Cu Chi Field Hospital.
