Newspaper Express (Sweden) on 11-30 said that the woman’s son was locked up at the age of 12 in the suburbs of Haninge, the capital of Stockholm. On the night of November 29, relatives of the old woman arrived at the house and found a 41-year-old man showing panic inside.
He could barely speak, he lost most of his teeth, his legs were full of bruises and ulcers, he was also malnourished, unable to walk. The relative immediately called an ambulance and took the man to hospital in critical condition.
According to the police, the old woman was arrested and accused of illegally detaining her son. When her son was 12, she pulled him out of school and has been home ever since. The woman explained that “someone wants to hurt them” should forbid her son to leave the house.

A relative of the old woman’s family previously doubted that something was wrong. For years, he tried to talk to other family members but could not find information. He also describes the house the mother and daughter have lived in for decades that has not been cleaned up as “a big garbage dump” and their living conditions are no different than “a horror movie.”
Stockholm police spokesman Tou Högg said a preliminary investigation was underway but did not provide further details.
