Information on 5 new isolated cases of COVID-19 in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province is as follows:

DISEASE 1.055 (BN1.055): Male, 60 years old, residing in Quoc Tan Commune, Nam Sach District, Hai Duong Province.

DISEASE 1.056 (BN1.056): Male, 11 years old, residing in Cua Nam neighborhood, Hai Ba Trung district, city of Hanoi.

DISEASE 1.057 (BN1.057): Male, 30 years old, residing in Hoai Thuong commune, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province.

DISEASE 1.058 (BN1.058): Female, 4 years old, residing in Le Loi Ward, Son Tay Town, Hanoi City.

DISEASE 1.059 (BN1.059): 37-year-old woman residing in Binh Minh Commune, Binh Giang District, Hai Duong Province.

BN1,055 – 1,059 returned from Ukraine to Vietnam on flight VN28 that entered Tan Son Nhat airport on September 1, and was transferred in isolation immediately after entry into Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.

The patients’ first test result on September 3 was negative, the second test result on 9/9 at the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Long Dien District Medical Center, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province.

Thus, at 6:00 p.m. on September 9, Vietnam had a total of 1,059 COVID-19 cases, of which 368 imported cases were immediately isolated; 35 dead.

The total number of people in close contact and entry from the epidemic area is under sanitary surveillance (quarantine): 37,474 people.

Treatment status: According to the report of the National Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19, the cure of 21 more COVID-19 patients was announced during the day, raising the total number of cases treated. the cure is 890. The number of first negative cases for SARS-CoV-2 is 16 cases. The number of negative second cases or more for SARS-CoV-2 was 13 cases. The number of third or more negative cases for SARS-CoV-2 was 21 cases.
