The information on 2 new cases of COVID-19 (BN1282-1283) is an entry case, isolated in Quang Ninh and Da Nang. As follows:
– PATIENT 1282 (BN1282): 27-year-old female patient, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri. On November 14, a patient from Japan entered Van Don Airport on flight VN311, isolated in Quang Ninh province immediately after entry.
Test results on November 15 at the Quang Ninh Province Center for Disease Control came back positive for SAR-CoV-2. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
– DISEASE 1283 (BN1283): Male, 23 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in District 12, HCMC. Patients from the United States to Japan on flight NH5, then from Japan to Da Nang airport on flight VN311 on November 8, are isolated in Da Nang city immediately after entry.
Taking samples for the first time on 9-11 and the second time on November 10, the test results are suspected, the third taking on November 16, the test result at the Center for Disease Control in the Da Nang city positive for SAR-CoV -2. The patient is currently in isolation and treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital.
With 2 new cases, Vietnam registered 1,283 cases since the beginning of the epidemic season, of which 1,124 cases were cured and discharged from the hospital.
About the case showing signs of re-positive in Hanoi, speak to Online youthThe director of the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology Dang Duc Anh said the hospital took a sample 3 times a day for this case, after tests at the National Hospital for Pediatrics on November 15 showed a positive result.
After a positive test, the patient went to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases for treatment, but the test came back negative twice a day. Twenty of the 56 exposed people tested negative, the rest were waiting for the test results.
