On the afternoon of 2-1, the Criminal Police Department, the Gia Lai Province Police cooperated with the Pleiku City Police to arrest 8 subjects to investigate the murder behavior.
Subjects include Vo Thanh Dat (SN 2004, Pleiku High School student), Bui Khanh Huyen (female, SN 2006), Le Nguyen Hoang Vy, Pham Anh Tuan, Ngo Minh Tri (same SN 2003), Ung Van Nghia (SN 2000), Le Anh Tuan Vu (SN 2002), Mang Ngoc Son (SN 2004, residing in the city of Pleiku, Gia Lai province).
The scene where a high school student was stabbed to death
At around 9:30 pm on January 1, Bui Khanh Huyen and a young woman named P. (SN 2006) arrived at Le Nguyen Hoang Vy’s home. While they were drinking, Tran Cong Khanh (SN 2002, Hoang Hoa Tham High School student) and his younger brother Hoang Thanh Nguyen (SN 2004), were friends of Huyen and P. came to take two girls home.
After that, Khanh and Nguyen did not take them home, but instead took them to a pub on the sidewalk in front of the Gia Lai Post Office, belonging to Group 1, Tay Son neighborhood, city. Pleiku drinks more. After a while, Huyen reported drinking with Nguyen and Khanh by her boyfriend Vo Thanh Dat (who was also drinking at Vy’s house).
Hearing that, Dat invited Huyen, Vy, Nghia, Vu, Tuan, Tri, Son to find Khanh and Nguyen to fight for the reason of taking their lover to drink.
At dawn on February 2, Dat’s group found Khanh and Nguyen drinking at a sidewalk bar in front of the Gia Lai post office. Seeing that, Vu used a dagger to stab twice in the back, causing Khanh’s death in the hospital. And Vy and Nghia hit Nguyen on the head with homemade knives and plastic chairs.
Immediately after receiving the news, the police quickly began arresting related subjects.
