A group of people from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi abducted Dang Van Bach, put him in a car, took him to Nam Dinh City, beat him, and collected debts.
The VKSND has just completed the indictment against Tran Van Khoi (SN 1978, in Ho Chi Minh City), Truong Cong Khanh (SN 1982, Lam Dong), Tran Van Thang (SN 1989, in Nam Dinh) and Nguyen Hung Anh (SN 1995, in Hanoi) on the kidnapping of appropriate property.
According to the accusations, Mr. Dang Van Bach (SN 1987, Thai Binh’s hometown) had a social relationship with Khoi.
On November 23, 2019, Mr. Bach came to Ho Chi Minh City from Hanoi to play and asked Khoi to help the gambling website with a limit of 225 million VND.
Mr. Bach gambled and lost all the money in his account, but had no money to pay Khoi.
On November 25, 2019, he returned to Hanoi, asked Khoi for his debt and promised to pay the previous amount in January, but Khoi did not agree and threatened to find Bach to collect his debt.
On December 17, 2019, Khoi called other defendants to go to Hanoi to collect debts.
Two days later, Khoi, Tran Van Thang, Truong Cong Khanh and Nguyen Hung Anh met Mr. Bach at the gate of 246 My Dinh Street, Nam Tu Liem District.
When Mr. Bach was drinking water on the opposite sidewalk, Khoi and his teammates were suddenly dragged into the car. The victim tried to fight and resisted, and Khoi pushed her away and Khanh hit her back with a brick.
The Khoi group beat him, beat him and dragged him to the car driven by Nguyen Hung Anh and took him to Nam Dinh city.
Along the way, the Khoi group continued to beat Mr. Bach. Khoi struck and said to the “debtor”: “You have to worry about paying me a billion.” Bach asked, “Why so many?” then he receives an answer: “I punish you.”
The accused group also asked Mr. Bach to call his wife, Ta Thanh Huyen, and his biological father, Dang Xuan Ho, to arrange VND 1 billion to pay Khoi.
After that, Hung drove a car to take Mr. Bach to the traditional lake park in Loc Vuong neighborhood, Nam Dinh.
Here, Khoi and his accomplices forced Mr. Bach to sign a VND 1 billion loan and a car loan as evidence to ask Bach’s relatives to pay Khoi money.
At around 3:45 am on December 19, 2019, Ms. Huyen went to the My Dinh district police to report her husband’s abduction.
At 10:00 pm on the same day, when Khoi, Khanh, Thang, Hung Anh took Mr. Bach to eat at Hoa Vien Restaurant in Nam Dinh, he was discovered and arrested by the Nam Tu Liem District Police.
Because Mr. Bach abandoned his residence, he cannot verify his place of residence and place of work. CQĐT has verified and summoned Mr. Bach many times, but could not clarify the civil requirements.

By welcoming, “kidnapping” a foreigner at the airport to take him home, the accused group forced Kitagawa Kemmei to pay off the debt.
