Samples will be collected on the first day, the fifth day, the tenth day, and the last day before the full 14 days of isolation are completed, rather than just taking samples on the first and last day of the period. Quarantine in accordance with national regulations
The city made this decision after discovering that 271 COVID-19 infected patients were discovered in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is a male patient, a British citizen, belonging to a group of 13 experts who entered Vietnam on April 28 to carry out economic projects, on flight AXY 2504, chartered to fly from England to Vietnam.
The crew of this flight flew back to the country and did not enter Vietnam.
Patients traveling with experts from the same flight were first sampled at 28-4 and had negative results.
In 2-5, these people were sampled for a second test. The patients were positive for the corona virus, the remaining 12 were negative.
According to a background survey, this patient had previously tested positive for coronavirus on April 7 in the UK, was untreated and isolated at home.
On April 21, the patient tested negative and was given a negative test certificate for the corona virus before coming to Vietnam on April 28.
Currently, the patient does not have a fever, cough, sore throat, or other symptoms. The patient was transferred to the Cu Chi field hospital for isolation treatment.
Because the patient is quarantined upon admission and properly controlled, there is no infectious factor in the community.
