Japan plans to respond to UFOs

Japan’s Defense Ministry announced it would develop a protocol for UFO encounters after the United States released a video on unidentified flying objects.

The process of coping, recording and reporting on unidentified flying objects (UFOs) was developed due to the mysterious nature of UFOs that could confuse pilots of the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF). The encounters, the Japanese Defense Ministry said in the May 2 statement.

The UFO response plan was reviewed by the Japanese Defense Ministry after the Pentagon on April 27 declassified and posted three videos of various UFOs recorded in 2004 and 2015. These videos were taken from the cockpit of the naval cockpit. . US Army USA, Recorded images of elliptical objects moving at high speed and maneuverability.

Japanese Defense Minister Taro Kono said on April 27 that JASDF pilots had never encountered UFOs, but that the agency had to have a process to avoid encounters.

According to the above response process, JASDF fighters organized themselves at 7 bases that stretched from Hokkaido to Okinawa to track and identify planes of unknown nationality. If the object flies close to Japanese airspace, the JASDF fighter pilot will request a turn in English. When the nationality of the aircraft is determined, the redirection request is repeated in the language of that country.

If this flying object enters Japanese airspace, JASDF can fire a warning, including the use of road marking bullets and forcing the pilot to land. It is unclear if this procedure is applicable in the event of a UFO encounter.

Japanese Defense Ministry officials are concerned that UFOs cannot be detected by ground radar and will suddenly encounter JASDF planes on training or reconnaissance missions.

“If a UFO is found, the training mission will be canceled immediately,” said a JASDF source. “We will try to identify the UFO from a safe distance, verify if it is a drone, and then report it to the Air Defense Command Center for orders,” the source said.

Defense Minister Kono said he did not believe in UFOs. “However, since the Pentagon has released that video, I want to know the intention and analysis of the United States,” said Kono.

Three videos of UFO encounters have been leaked to the American media, sparking speculation that this is a strange medium. The United States Department of Defense decided to declassify and post videos to clarify the issue of authenticity after identifying them “without exposing any sensitive capabilities or systems.”
