On the surface, everyone thought that this man was a very common farmer. But no one could doubt that behind the friendly eyes and that kind smile they hid a violent crime for many years.
In 2002, when Canadian police raided a pig farm by a man named Robert Pickton, they could not believe they were at the scene of the most horrifying mass murder case in Canadian history. For years, that kind-looking man kidnapped and murdered dozens of girls, most of them prostitutes, and then they reassigned their bodies. Scary stories like horror movies have shaken public opinion in Canada. |
Inside the pig farm, where Robert Pickton committed his crime.
Good farmer
Robert Pickto’s full name is Robert William Willie Pickton was born on October 26, 1949 in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, into a family of three generations of farmers who raise pigs.
After the death of his parents, Robert, along with his brother David Francis Pickton, became the owner of a fairly large farm near Vancouver. This is a shabby place with scattered metal debris and almost always the cry of hungry pigs.
Robert Pickton has a good appearance and is said to be gentle. To his neighbors, Robert was quite naive in their eyes, he never drank or smoked, and he simply dated pigs on his farm.
Not only that, Robert also considers himself kind. As the Robert Pickton brothers run this farm together, they often throw big parties and organize a charity called the Piggy Palace Good Times Society.
This nonprofit organization registered with the Canadian government in 1996 to coordinate, manage and organize special events, organize arts and culture events, etc. Investigators accused him of carrying out many wild activities in a house near the farm with the involvement of addicted girls from downtown Eastside. By January 1/2000, this organization was dissolved.
The true face of the murderer.
No one knows that behind Robert’s friendly eyes and gentle smile there is a thirst for blood. Back then, Robert was a regular customer of street girls in downtown Eastside and often terrified them.
However, Robert Pickton was very smart. With sweet words, a promise of money, an alcohol or drug party, he lured and dragged the girls to his farm. There, Robert committed countless murderous crimes. He raped, tortured, beat and murdered them in various ways. In 1997 Robert Pickton was charged with attempted murder, but was later released for lack of evidence.
The search for every inch on Robert’s farm only ended in mid-October 2004, almost two years since the research team was on the farm. The team found that the bones were scattered everywhere by at least 30 victims, of whom 27 were identified and put on police watch lists, the other three were not identified. specified.
However, according to police statistics, in 2001, 62 women had disappeared without a trace and Robert was suspected to be behind them all.
During his arrest, Robert Pickton insisted on pleading guilty. He always maintains a calm face, calm demeanor, and his belief that his crimes cannot be exposed. In fact, with his special method of handling corpses, Robert left little evidence that the police could find and use to expose his crimes.
