The move left Coach Park “in awe” to help the Vietnamese team have more “treasure swords”

The move made Coach Park

Forward Van Toan is playing well in the role of forward

With a goal against Hai Phong, forward Nguyen Van Toan has scored 4 goals, among the top 3 forwards in the 2021 V-League.

His goals are just behind Rafaelson (SHB Da Nang) and Edyson (Than Quang Ninh), both with 5.

Van Toan was one of Coach Kiatisak’s hidden adjustments when he arrived at Pleiku.

The Thai strategist did not allow Toan to play as a winger, a role familiar to the Hai Duong player.

Instead, Van Toan was pushed into the penalty area, paired with Brandao, playing the highest in attack.

This setting brings an unexpected effect when Toan plays extremely well in a new role thanks to his ability to run with intelligence, wit.

4 goals after just 7 rounds showed Toan very well suited to coach Kiatisak’s request. Remember, all last season the forward born in 1996 only 5 goals.

Watching Coach Kiatisak use Van Toan, Coach Park Hang-seo can do the absolute same thing, pushing Hai Duong’s player to a spearhead in the Vietnamese team.

Park has long complained about recruiting Vietnam without a striker. To the point that, at the next army rally, he summoned forward Anh Duc, who was 36 years old.

In such a context, Van Toan was like a gift from Coach Kiatisak to him, helping to increase the attacking power of the Vietnamese team.

In fact, Mr. Park has never used Van Toan as Kiatisak coach at HAGL. Perhaps he was surprised by this flexibility himself.

Now the Vietnamese team has a very good suggestion, a sharp sword that can take down opponents.

The only problem that remains is whether or not Coach Park Hang-seo has made a bold change to Van Toan’s position.
