According to initial information, around 1 a.m. on the same day, through the recognition and monitoring process, the judicial force intercepted a car at the Hoang Mai tollbooth, on Highway 1, the section that passes through the city of Hoang Mai, Nghe An province.

Searching the site, the scouts seized 227 kg of drugs of all kinds and related exhibits. The unidentified driver was immediately arrested by authorities. Currently the functional forces continue to investigate and expand the project.
Before that, in April 2019, after many days of investigation and confidentiality, the Nghe An province police force broke a large transnational drug trafficking line. Upon detecting the arrest, this group of subjects dumped 24 sacks containing almost 1 ton of methamphetamine on the roadside in the salt fields in Quynh Thuan Commune, Quynh Luu, Nghe An Province and then ran away. However, the scouts immediately arrested 3 subjects involved.
