4 new cases (BN2587-2590) are isolated cases immediately after entry into Tay Ninh (2) and Bac Ninh (2). Specifically:
– PATIENT 2587 (BN2587): 36-year-old patient, Vietnamese citizen residing in Tan Chau district, Tay Ninh province.
– PATIENT 2588 (BN2588): A 28-year-old patient is a Vietnamese citizen living in the city. Thai Nguyen, Thai Nguyen province.
BN2587-2588 is F1 of BN2583 (patient, 28 years old, Vietnamese citizen, has an address in Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh province, patient enters Moc Bai international border gate on March 25 and shortly after immigration in Tay Ninh Province) before returning to Vietnam.
On March 26, the above patients entered the Moc Bai international border gate and were quarantined immediately after their entry into Tay Ninh province. The test result on March 27 was positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Tay Ninh Provincial General Hospital.
– DISEASE 2589 (BN2589): Female patient, 25 years old, specialist, Filipino nationality.
– PATIENT 2590 (BN2590): Female patient, 27 years old, specialist, Filipino nationality.
BN2589-2590 from the Philippines entered Noi Bai Airport on March 15 and was quarantined immediately after entering Bac Ninh province. The second test result on March 27 was positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
With 4 new patients, the number of people infected with COVID-19 since the beginning of the epidemic season is now 2,590 people, of which 2308 people have been cured and discharged from the hospital. The number of people vaccinated so far is almost 44,300 in 19 provinces.
