On the morning of March 27, social networks published and broadcast a 5-minute clip of a young man being tortured, buried alive as in medieval times, which angered Internet users.

The image in this clip shows that the area where the abuse occurred was a vacant lot on the riverbank. The young man was stripped of his clothes by a group of young people, with his hands tied behind his back. The victim was forced to kneel on the ground for questioning.

A young man struck the victim’s face with sandals. The victim was then dragged by this group of people, knocked down a guarded hole. Here, this young man was tied with his hands from behind, another young man, grasping the rope, kicked the receiver, laying down in the hole with his foot.

The group of youths above used their feet to kick sand into the well to bury the victim.

The young man then sat down and pleaded, but was not forgiven. The victim was taken away, handcuffed from back to front, covered with a prepared bag and then shoved into a well, covered with sand to be buried alive.
Some images from the clip posted on social media are said to be on the Cua Tien 2 bridge (P.Vinh Tan, Vinh City, Nghe An). However, a P. Vinh Tan police officer said that the place where this young man was abused and buried alive was not in the ward area.

Others identified this position in the H. Nghi Xuan area (Ha Tinh province). On March 27, Colonel Le Khac Thuyet, director of the Ha Tinh police department, said that he ordered the police to verify and clarify the incident urgently.
