Of the more than 40 Chinese discovered, the majority were in Fujian province. After crossing the border into the northern provinces of Vietnam, they boarded buses to Ho Chi Minh City.
Authorities determined that Tran Anh Tai, Dong Duy Tri colluded with the owner of the Symphony Hotel to arrange for the Chinese to stay in Ho Chi Minh City, and then went online to take An Giang to Cambodia.
The case is being thoroughly investigated.
