The 7-year-old boy was washed away by the waves on Man Thai Beach, although people found him, the victim died.
Around 4:30 pm this afternoon (March 13), Nguyen Nhat Minh (7 years old, from Phu Vang district, Thua Thien – Hue province) accompanied his 11-year-old brother to Man Thai Beach ( Tho Quang neighborhood, Son Tra district, Da Nang) play.
After a while, Minh went downstairs to the bathroom and was unfortunately swept away by the waves. Upon discovering the incident, Minh’s brother exhorted and asked for help.

Nearby people immediately went out to search and used nets in the area after a while, then found Minh. However, the 7-year-old boy died of suffocation.
Knowing that their son was in trouble, Minh’s parents ran to the scene and wept bitterly.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu (SN 1992, Minh’s father) said that on the afternoon of the same day, the two children left school to play alone at the inn. After that, the Minh brothers went to the beach to play and a painful incident occurred.

Hieu’s family situation was extremely difficult. He works as a bricklayer at a construction site in Son Tra district, and his wife, Nguyen Thi Nhung, works for seafood processing establishments. Ms. Nhung is currently 4 months pregnant.
In recent years, Hieu’s family moved from their hometown to Da Nang to work and rent a small room to live in group 102 (Tho Quang neighborhood).
Local people have asked for money to be donated to help his family carry Minh’s body to his hometown for burial.
