Earlier, the Dong Nai Province Police established a project, coordinated with the Criminal Police Department and professional units of the Ministry of Public Security to destroy the large-scale and sophisticated fake gasoline manufacturing line organized in many places. Provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Long An, Vinh Long and Can Tho.
So far, in addition to Mr. Ngo Van Thuy, who has just been arrested, the police investigation and the police agency of Dong Nai Province have in turn decided to prosecute the case, prosecute and detain a total of 39 defendants. to investigate the fact of “smuggling”, “production and marketing of counterfeit products”, “illegal purchase and sale of invoices, receipts from the state budget”, “acceptance of bribes”, “bribes”.

According to the Dong Nai police, the arrested suspects organized the sale and purchase of fake gasoline, established many transportation companies, oil trading companies, built warehouses along the river routes, bought barges, orchids, means of transportation. heavy tonnage, solvents, chemicals for the preparation of poor quality and fake gasoline.
Using the technique of importing gasoline from abroad and parking near Vietnamese territorial waters, the subjects allowed to pump gasoline to Vietnamese ships, then used solvents, low-quality gasoline chemicals, used chemicals to prepare gasoline. A95 brought to depots in rivers and many provinces and then supplied tanker trucks to transport gas stations for consumption in the market.
From August 2020 until now, this line has brought 200 million liters of poor quality and fake gasoline to the market.
In the case, the police initially seized 2 ships with a tonnage of 1,500 tons, 5 barges with a capacity of 400 – 1,000 tons, 6 tanks with almost 2.7 million liters of gasoline, 4 barrels of chemicals to create colors , plus 100 billion in cash, about 50 red books, 12 boxes of documents, books and exhibits related to the criminal activities of the subjects.
Currently the case is still being investigated to expand.
