This list is reviewed and statistically based on the information form collected according to the official letter from the Department of Preventive Medicine, which the Ministry of Health sent to the units on March 2.

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City does not have any active outbreaks in the community, so the city has not identified priority areas for vaccination.

On March 1, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health assigned the Department of Pharmaceutical Professionals to work directly with the vaccine supplier, verify and re-evaluate the supplies and equipment for the preservation of vaccines in different locations.

Covivac, researched and developed by IVAC, is Vietnam’s second Covid-19 vaccine to be clinically tested in humans. The first test shot is scheduled for mid-March.

Additionally, Nanocovax produced by Nanogen has now entered a second phase of testing. Another unit that is also working on the Covid-19 vaccine, Vabiotech, is preparing to submit a clinical trial application.
