15 New Covid-19 Cases Announced in Hai Duong

On the afternoon of February 19, the Ministry of Health announced 15 more cases of Covid-19 in Hai Duong, bringing the total number of people infected by this disease in the country to 2,362 cases.

Patients 2348 – 2362 were recorded in Hai Duong. Of these, 13 cases are F1, which have previously been quarantined; 1 case in the blockade area (these cases have no risk of spreading to the community); 1 case was discovered by screening in hospital, immediately isolated.

The epidemiological investigation of these cases continues.

Currently, 7 patients have been isolated and treated at the Chi Linh District Medical Center; 1 patient transferred treatment at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases and 7 cases of treatment at No. 2 Field Hospital (Hai Duong Medical Technical University).

Thus, at 6:00 p.m. this afternoon, Vietnam has registered a total of 2,362 cases of Covid-19, of which 1,463 cases were contracted by domestic infections.

Particularly since January 27 until now, the country has detected 770 cases of infection in the community in 13 provinces: Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Ho Chi Minh City, Gia Lai, Hai Phong, Hoa . Binh, Binh Duong, Dien Bien, Ha Giang and Hung Yen.

Regarding the treatment situation, medical facilities have now cured 1,627 Covid-19 patients. Those who have not recovered have 55 cases of three consecutive negative SARS-CoV-2 cases, 39 second-time negative cases, and 69 first-time negative cases. The number of Covid-19 patients who died was 35.

The total number of people in close contact with and entry from the epidemic area under medical supervision throughout the country is 139,446. Of which, 604 people were isolated at the hospital, 13,450 were isolated at another facility, and 125,392 were isolated at home and in residence.
