On the night of February 8, Dr. Nguyen Trung Hoa, director of the Go Vap district medical center, said that the unit had just taken samples for testing and isolated 41/44 children in the Hoa kindergarten Phuong Do. (District 6, Go Vap District).
Dr. Hoa said that this group of children was linked to two positive COVID-19 cases that the Ho Chi Minh City health sector just announced, including a school-going boy and his mother.
“This group has 44 babies, currently isolated and sampled 41 babies with their parents. Also, 3 other babies have returned to the localities, including 1 child in Tan Phu, we have timely information. For the local authorities to monitor and manage,” Dr. Hoa confirmed.
Previously, according to the HCMC Center for Disease Control (HCDC), nEven when test results are suspected of being infected with COVID-19 out of 6 cases at Go Vap, the local health sector has coordinated with functional agencies to quickly locate and temporarily block locations related to the cases. Suspicion of infection, at the same time tracking all contact cases and quickly took samples to test all the people involved.
As a result, the Go Vap district has sampled 1,030 Felix Homes residents; 41/44 children under 5 years old at Hoa Phuong Do Kindergarten and 108 samples analyzed at Alley 251 (Ward 10, Go Vap District).
