So far, the second field hospital of Hai Duong Medical Technical University has only recorded one case of mild dyspnea.

Currently, the health sector has established 200 hospital beds at the Chi Linh City No. 1 Field Hospital. Hospital No. 2 in the immediate future has 210 beds, however, it can expand its capacity up to 500 beds.
“Thus, the entire province currently has a total scale of 900 beds that serve the treatment of Covid-19. If necessary, we can expand the scale to 300 more beds in Hospital No. 2, bringing the total to 1,200 beds, ”said Mr. Khoa.
Hai Duong is also rapidly deploying Field Hospital No. 3, which is expected to be operational in the coming days.
In terms of human resources for treatment, the medical staff at Field Hospital No. 1 was mostly from City Medical Center. Chi Linh, with the support of officials from the Hai Duong Health Department, was transferred. In addition, this facility is being “wired” by experts from the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, directly professionally led by Dr. Nguyen Trung Cap, deputy director of the hospital.
Field Hospital 2 also has human resources coordinated between the three parties, including on-site manpower from Hai Duong Medical Technical University Hospital, manpower dispatched by the Health Department and specialists from Bach Hospital. Mai. Currently, the hospital has established an active treatment unit with a full range of modern facilities, including a ventilator, ECMO equipment, and 10 emergency beds.
According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Khoa, in addition to the objective of not allowing the death of the patient, the health sector has set itself the second objective of not allowing any medical personnel to become infected while working. Hospitals are trying to expedite patients, organize reasonable cases for medical personnel to ensure health and fight infection.
“If these two goals are achieved, the number of patients is not too high,” Mr. Khoa said.
The Ministry of Health also pays particular attention to ensuring normal medical examination and treatment at Hai Duong medical facilities.
According to Mr. Khoa, hospitals in the province have so far strictly controlled to prevent intrusive positive cases, serving well the medical examination and treatment of the population. If a Covid-19 case is invaded, in a prolonged hospital stay, many serious cases will appear as a result.
