On January 24, Mr. Doan Ngoc Hai, former Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, said that he had just completed a house with an estimated value of 6 billion VND.

The house includes 1 ground floor, 1 mezzanine and 2 floors, located at DN4-1 Street, An Suong Residential Area, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.

This house is intended for the blind, homeless with a free place to live.

Currently, Mr. Doan Ngoc Hai’s house has 20 beds and before Lunar New Year 2021 he will welcome the less fortunate. Here, everyone will be free of the full cost of living, as well as rice and water.

“This is my wish for many years. There are mostly blind people living inside the house. However, there will be 2 healthy people to support and help with daily activities” – said Mr. Hai.

According to Mr. Doan Ngoc Hai, the money to buy land and build a house because he sells some personal belongings.
