Investigation documents determine that Mr. Huy and his accomplices have contracted 9 lines to transport smuggled goods from Hong Kong to Vietnam by land, air and sea. They meet at the Nhat Cuong company warehouse at 39 Ly Quoc Su street.
In particular, with the trick of making customs documents, tens of thousands of phones were transported by this smuggling line through Noi Bai airport to Vietnam for consumption.
The prosecution alleges that through the Nhat Cuong store system, Bui Quang Huy and his accomplices sold 255,000 products, making an illegal profit of 221 billion VND.
Use 2 accounting systems to hide smuggling
According to the indictment, in the process of operating the smuggling line, Bui Quang Huy ordered his staff to establish two accounting systems to monitor the company’s business activities.
At the same time, Huy ordered that Nguyen Bao Ngoc, CFO and Nguyen Thi Bich Hang, chief accountant of Nhat Cuong Company, use and record data related to the company’s operations in two book systems: ledgers in ERP software and software. MASS.
The Prosecutor’s Office accused the owner of the acts of Nhat Cuong and his employees of making two systems of accounting books to conceal illegal business activities, avoid inspection and discovery by the authorities.
At the same time, the defendants also omitted the accounting books of the assets, the Company’s actual operating capital to hide the actual income, tax evasion, causing damage to the State of nearly 30 billion VND in VAT and corporate income.
The prosecution attributed Mr. Bui Quang Huy as the person who directly led, had an intellectual brain and a leading role; Nguyen Bao Ngoc and Nguyen Thi Bich Hang… are helping practitioners in the case.
Regarding the Nhat Cuong case, Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung, former chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, was sentenced to five years in prison for “seizing state secret documents”.
Mr. Chung and his wife are individuals with related rights and obligations in the Nhat Cuong case, so they asked Investigator Pham Quang Dung (Officer C03, Ministry of Public Security) to collect and “capture information on the direction of the investigation “.
