President Donald Trump officially left the White House hours before President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration.

According to CNN, President Donald Trump boarded a Marine One helicopter leaving the White House for Andrews Air Force Base. Here, he had a brief farewell ceremony before boarding the last presidential flight to Palm Beach, Florida.

Speaking briefly outside the White House, Donald Trump said it was a great honor that he became president. “Great honor, honor of a human life, the greatest home in the world, four wonderful years. We love the American people,” President Donald Trump said before getting on the helicopter.

President Donald Trump has not left the White House or made a public appearance in the past week. On the night of January 18, he recorded the final video message from the Green Room of the White House, reviewing some of the accomplishments his administration has made over the past four years. He signed 73 amnesty orders and 70 reduced orders during the last hours of his presidency, but there were no pardons for him or his relatives.
