The person also said that Williams intended to send the laptop to a friend in Russia to sell it to Russia’s SVR Foreign Intelligence Service, but the plan allegedly collapsed. The FBI is investigating this information.

Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff Drew Hammill confirmed the loss of the laptop, but said the device was for presentations only.

Williams’ father, who lives in the town of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, told authorities that he and his daughter attended the June 6 rally, but they later separated and only met when they got home.
Williams’ mother, who lives in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, claimed her daughter had picked up a bag and said she would be away from home for several weeks before being arrested. Williams is also said to have changed her phone number and deleted many social media accounts.
