In a brief talk with reporters at the White House on January 12, President Donald Trump said the House of Representatives preparing to impeach him is “absolutely ridiculous.”
AFP quoted President Trump as saying that the lower house prepared to vote on his impeachment on January 13 is the continuation of the biggest witch hunt in US political history.
According to the leader, this is causing enormous outrage. “They’re doing it and it’s really bad that they’re doing it,” President Trump said as he was about to leave to visit the Mexican border wall in Alamo City, Texas.
When asked if he was responsible for the June 6 riots, President Trump said his remarks on that day were completely relevant.
“If you read my speech, what I say is absolutely relevant,” President Trump said. The leader said he did not want violence and that is always something to avoid.
The U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to discuss and vote on President Trump’s impeachment resolution on January 13. The leader was accused of inciting the revolt. However, the Senate is not expected to consider the resolution while President Trump is in office.
