The transportation route also shortens the time between Long An, Tien Giang and Vung Tau compared to the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Highway. The inhabitants of these two provinces can go from the Can Giuoc (Long An) district via the Can Gio – Can Giuoc ferry, about 40 km to the Tac Suat pier.
