Authorities in An Giang province have discovered two more women illegally crossing the border into Vietnam with a group of patients infected with Covid-19.

On December 31, the An Giang Provincial People’s Committee said, according to the provincial police report on the results of the initial investigation and verification, in addition to 5 subjects sharing a car with 1,440 patients from the Myanmar-Thailand border: Cambodia returned to Vietnam and 3 other women in Cambodia joined the illegal entry.

In these 9 cases, upon reaching Bung Nho Village, Khanh Binh Commune, An Phu District, he divided into 2 groups.

The first group of 6 people got into a 7-seater car controlled by the MVT driver and ran towards Long An.

The second group had the remaining 3 women and was picked up by Mr. TVU under the car brand Hyundai i10 BKS 67A-15173 Huyndai i10 BKS 67A-15173 (with the first negative test result).

As the car approached Con Tien Bridge (Da Phuoc Commune, An Phu District, An Giang Province), a woman in love got off the bus and took a taxi to go to Tri Phien Commune, Thoi Binh District , Ca Mau province.

The other two people, Driver T., continued to pass on the Chau Giang Ferry (Chau Doc City) and the Muong Mieu Ferry on the Tan Chau – Hong Ngu route.

The driver declares not to remember the name of the street, the specific address. Driver U. stated that he only remembered driving down the alley for about 500m, then to guest house number 2, the distance from the gold shop to this person’s house is about 6 km.
