On the morning of December 30, T. visited relatives and close neighbors at his home. After people discovered T. on their return to the village, they informed the authorities and were mobilized to a concentrated isolation at the Nguyen Van Thu Medical Center (Vung Liem district) for approximately 13 hours the same day.
The functional department took a sample to test for SARS-CoV-2 from this case and sent it to the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently T. has no signs of fever, cough, or shortness of breath.
