For automobiles, a 4-seater van and a van at 350,000 VND are proposed; From 7 to 20 seats, the rate is 450,000 VND; from 20 to 26 seats is 600,000 VND and from 26 seats or more it is 800,000 VND per vehicle. For trucks less than 3 tons, the proposed rate is 400,000 VND, for 8 tons or more, the rate is one million VND.

The Can Gio – Vung Tau ferry is invested by companies, so there is no subsidy. This is Ho Chi Minh City’s first sea ferry, 15 km long, departing from the Tac Thuat pier in Can Thanh (Can Gio) city to Vung Tau (near the port administration headquarters Vung Tau Sea).

The ferry is designed with two bodies, 45 m long, 10 m wide, with a maximum speed of 24 knots (more than 43 km) per hour; transporting 350 people, 20 cars, 100 motorcycles and merchandise … When exploding, there are 24 trips per day, each trip is 60 minutes apart. Currently, the car terminal and parking system has been completed, two ferries have been completed for testing, which are expected to operate from January 4, 2021.
