Immediately after its discovery, Acecook Vietnam stopped using this ingredient in Peacook’s Instant Pot Beef Noodle Soup.

At the same time, the Japanese manufacturer said that it is also conducting a review of the entire quality control process for both export and domestic raw materials to ensure that similar incidents do not arise.

“We are testing the local noodle and pho products circulating in Vietnam through an independent international inspection company – SGS Vietnam.

The results showed that instant noodles and noodle products that were distributed in the country were safe according to Korean and EU standards. All products circulating in Vietnam comply with Vietnamese laws and regulations, guaranteeing safety for the health of consumers ”, affirmed the representative of Acecook Vietnam.

According to Acecook Vietnam, benzo (a) pyrene is not an additive and cannot be used in the production and processing of industrial foods in general and Peacook instant noodles in particular. Therefore, the company undertakes not to add this substance to products during production at its factory.
