Ministry of Health announced 10 new patients, 1 more person admitting positive gonorrhea COVID-19

According to the Ministry of Health, 10 new cases (BN1442-1451) were isolated in Khanh Hoa province (9 people) and HCMC (1 person). As follows:

– case 1442 (BN1442): male, 39 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Ba Be district, Bac Kan province.

– case 1443 (BN1443): male, 49 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.

– case 1444 (BN1444): male, 50 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Y Yen district, Nam Dinh province.

– case 1445 (BN1445): male, 37 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province.

– case 1446 (BN1446): male, 26 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh province.

– case 1447 (BN1447): male, 56 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Dong Da district, Hanoi.

– case 1448 (BN1448): male, 30 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province.

– case 1449 (BN1449): male, 37 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Ha Dong district, Hanoi.

– case 1450 (BN1450): female, 29 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province.

On December 25, BN1442-1450 from Russia entered Cam Ranh Airport on flight VN5062, isolated in Khanh Hoa province immediately after entry. The test result at the Khanh Hoa Province Center for Disease Control on December 27 was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Currently, BN1442-1446 is isolated and treated at Khanh Hoa Tropical Diseases Hospital, and BN1447-1450 is isolated and treated at Ninh Sim – Ninh Hoa Regional General Clinic.

– case 1451 (BN1451): male, 23 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City. This is the case of Myanmar who entered illegally on the open road on December 24 (with BN1440), then returned to Ho Chi Minh City.

Test results on December 27 at the HCMC Center for Disease Control were positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at the Cu Chi Field Hospital. This is an illegal immigrant with COVID-19 2 registered in the last 3 days (after the 1440 case in Vinh Long).

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Health Department and the relevant authorities are actively tracking and searching for individuals related to the patient to isolate. On the same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a telegram to the ministries and the provincial People’s Committee, demanding strict control of people entering the open road, strictly handling violations.

The Prime Minister also asked the provinces to quickly trace the patient’s related persons, so as not to allow the epidemic to spread to the community. “All Vietnamese show their sense and sense of responsibility, strictly follow the warnings on preventing the COVID-19 epidemic to have a safe Lunar New Year 2021,” the telegram wrote.
