At around 5 pm on December 21, a brutal murder occurred in the city of São Paulo (Brazil), right on the street that victim Ana Paula da Silva passed on her way home from work. Da Silva has a 15-year-old daughter. Before being killed, she worked in a shoe store in the Brás de São Paulo clothing district.
Security cameras captured a scene of an armed man ambushing next to a streetlight for almost 4 minutes. The 34-year-old woman just approached, immediately pulled out a pistol and shot her in the head, then two shots to the neck. The fatal wound caused the death of the victim on the spot, according to information from the public forces.
Minutes before the murder occurred, da Silva was walking down Monsenhor Andrade Street to get home from work shift. As she passed the perpetrator, she never looked at him once. However, when the victim collapsed, that man remained in place for a few seconds to watch.
The murder is complete, the attacker gets on the motorcycle to flee. At the same time, another cyclist was also clinging behind him. This person is said to have been chasing da Silva since before she was shot dead. Brazilian authorities have not yet determined the motive for the murder of the victim. As of December 25, no suspect has been arrested in this incident.
