When Mr. Quang intervened, Thach opened the trunk of his car and took two metal bars to hit Mr. Quang, injuring him. Then Thach chased and beat Mr. Tuan, but he escaped. After being beaten by Thach, other workers took Mr. Quang to the Minh Thien Emergency General Hospital.
Searching for Thach’s whereabouts and vehicles, the competent forces seized many hot weapons, including 13 blades, 17 knives, 3 electric whips, 5 bullets, 1 iron tube, 1 segment of 2, 1 triangle, 1 pepper spray, 1 lance, 1 pistol with compressed air cylinder. The Quang Nam authorities continued to investigate and clarify the case of beating environmental workers and storing “hot” weapons.
