Flight attendants and flight crews must be quarantined for a full 14 days (including centralized isolation and residential isolation). Hanoi Health Department suggests not isolating yourself in crowded apartments, not guaranteeing conditions.
On December 23, the Ministry of Health reported that it registered 1 new case of COVID-19. A patient has just returned from the US, is immediately quarantined and is currently being treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases. This is the case 1421 in Vietnam since the beginning of the outbreak.
Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long launched to mark International Disease Control Day on December 27 in Vietnam, in the spirit of the United Nations General Assembly resolution dated 7-12.
This is the first resolution of the United Nations General Assembly in this regard, also the first resolution proposed and successfully adopted by Vietnam in the United Nations General Assembly.
