Information from the Central Propaganda Department said that at the XIV Conference of the XII Central Committee of the Party from December 14 to 18, the Central Committee of the Party decided to convene the XIII Congress from the date of 25.1.2021 to 2.2.2021 in Hanoi .
As usual, the program of the XIII Party Congress will take place on the first day of the preparatory session and officially opens the following day, January 26, 2121. According to the time of the convocation, the XIII Congress was held in 9 days , to close on 2.2.2021.
Before that, a statement at the XIV Central Congress of the Party Central Office said that at the conference, the Central Committee discussed and approved the content of the draft documents presented to the XIII Party Congress.
In addition, the Central Committee of the XII Party also discussed and approved the Summary Report on the implementation of the Working Regulations of the Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat of the XII legislature; continue performing personnel tasks XIII Congress; discuss and comment on some of the contents of the XIII Congress; and some other important issues.
Speaking at the closing of the conference, Secretary General and President of State Nguyen Phu Trong said that the conference focused on discussion, specific comments and high consensus with the contents proposed by the Politburo to absorb, explain, finalize the drafts and complete the preparation of the documents presented to the XIII Party Congress. The Central Committee strongly agreed that the preparation of the documents presented to the XIII Party Congress has been completed.
Regarding personnel work in the 13th period, General Secretary and Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong said that the Party Central Committee discussed democracy carefully, and voted with a very high consensus. Politburo, XIII period secretariat, including Politburo staff, XII reelection secretary and first-time participating staff.
The Central Executive Committee assigned the Politburo and the Human Resources Subcommittee to continue to review, supplement and complete the personnel plans in accordance with the work direction of the XIII Executive Committee staff and the process. It has been proposed that the staff work report to the Central Committee for consideration and decision at the next 15th Conference.
The fifteenth conference is scheduled for January 2021, before the XIII Party Congress.
