According to the full text of that rescue package CNN published, the US spends at least 169,739,000 USD to support Vietnam.

The rescue package clearly indicated 3 items, of which $ 14.5 million were for health and disability programs in areas sprayed with Agent Orange and dioxin contamination; support for people with severe motor disabilities in the upper or lower body, as well as cognitive or developmental disabilities.

Approximately $ 19 million will be provided, regardless of any legal requirements, for rehabilitation activities at dioxin-contaminated sites in Vietnam. This money can be used to support the government of Vietnam, including the military, for the above purpose.

The final item is approximately $ 2.5 million that will be spent on a mediation program after the war.

Previously, with 92 votes in favor and 6 against, the two parties approved an economic rescue package worth 900 billion dollars to restore the US economy after the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

After months of intense negotiations, Republicans and Democrats finally reached a consensus on the rescue package. The rescue package was sent to President Trump pending signing and signing into law.

Additionally, the United States Congress also approved a $ 1.4 billion spending package for the next fiscal year.
