The AP reported on Dec. 22 that a man in Pennsylvania (US) had just been charged with voting illegally and perjury, after prosecutors said he voted for a long-life deceased relative.

At the news conference, District Attorney Jacks Stollsteimer in Pennsylvania’s Delaware County said that defendant Bruce Bartman (70 years old) in the city of Maple voted for his mother, even though she died more than 10 years ago.

Bartman was also accused of registering to vote by his mother-in-law, who died last year, but ultimately did not take her absentee ballot. Mr. Bartman is currently out on bail.

Prosecutors said Bartman used his mother’s driver’s license number to register, receive mail-in ballots and resubmit the ballot to fraudulently vote on her behalf.

Additionally, she used her mother-in-law’s social security number but the system determined that she died in 2019. Authorities sent a verification letter and Mr. Bartman continued to cheat to register again, but did not take the vote. .

Trump sued the state of Pennsylvania over the election results, refusing to “believe” the theory of martial law.

Stollsteimer said the defendant registered the two women as Republicans and told investigating authorities he did so to aid in the re-election of President Donald Trump.

The Delaware County Attorney’s Office said it was referring to the Republican Party because of many conspiracy theories that there was voter fraud. The court is scheduled to open a preliminary hearing against Bartman in January 2021.
